Partridge provided structural engineering for the Callan Park Waterfront Green Amenities, supporting Stanic Harding Architects and Tyrrell Studio. This project aimed to create inviting public space within the historically and culturally significant Callan Park. Working within strict planning and heritage controls, our team designed a free-standing steel-framed roof with tapered cantilevers, ensuring it complemented the surrounding casuarina grove and preserved water views. The amenities block features independent masonry construction beneath the roof. Our structural design involved close collaboration on intricate details like expressed steel connections, custom fascia beams, and eccentric connections for a seamless integration with the architectural vision. This functional and carefully integrated project received the 2025 NSW Architecture Award in the Small Project Architecture category.
