    After working as an engineer across all areas of Partridge for 16 years Peter was appointed as Managing Director in 2019. Peter has a keen interest in complex geometry, adventurous structural design, unique structures and art projects, as well as remedial engineering. Peter enjoys developing clever solutions using a first-principles engineering approach leveraged by modern technology.

    TADD WALFORD

    Tadd joined Partridge in 2016 and has over 13 years’ experience in the field of structural engineering consulting, with extensive experience in the design and site supervision of residential, industrial, commercial and civil works projects, in concrete, steel, masonry and timber, and the investigation, reporting and remediation of building defects. He has a passion for problem solving and thinking outside the box, and relishes any opportunity to do so, whether it be in the role of design engineer, project manager or even as an expert witness on the odd occasion.

    With extensive experience across engineering and construction industries for more than 25 years, Adam joined the Partridge Remedial team in 2016 and bought along his skill sets ranging from forensic investigation, water ingress, defect reports, waterproofing system design, and expert witness reports. His range of previous experience across remedial, commercial, industrial, heritage, and transport projects allows him to adapt to meet the client’s needs. An honest approach and developing a strong understanding of what drives the client has been integral in Adam developing and maintaining successful long-term relationships across a diverse range of projects.

    Jon joined Partridge in May 2021 with over 10 years’ experience across a wide variety of structural engineering projects, primarily in the areas of commercial, infrastructure and high end residential, across the UK, Australia, and Middle East. Jon has extensive experience in delivering unique and challenging projects of all sizes. He enjoys collaborating with all stakeholders of the design process to find well-considered structural solutions, turning complex design briefs into simple, buildable and cost-effective structural solutions whilst meeting the aesthetic and functional requirements

    ANDREW DERBIDGE

    Andrew has over 25 years’ experience as a structural engineer, managing and designing a huge and diverse range of residential, commercial, and industrial projects, both small and large. He also works extensively in building forensics, identifying the underlying cause of damage and defects in buildings, and how to address them. As a “hands on” director, being with Partridge since 2005, he enjoys working collaboratively with architects on residential houses, and has particular expertise with the economical design and performance of concrete structures.

    EAMONN MADDEN

    Eamonn has over 30 years of experience as a structural engineer in Ireland, the UK and Australia including lecturing in Structural Engineering in Ireland and Australia. He joined Partridge in 1989 and was Managing Director between 2009 and 2019. With a passion for all things engineering, including general structural design and building facades as well as site supervision of domestic, industrial and commercial projects. He has a special interest in the design, inspection and certification of entertainment and event structures including public artwork. A leader in the engineering industry, Eamonn is a former president and board member of the Association of Consulting Structural Engineers (ACSE) NSW.

    Shane joined Partridge in 2020 with over 14 years of experience across a wide variety of structural engineering projects, primarily in the areas of high-end residential, logistics, commercial, hospitality and shoring across UK, Ireland, Australia & UAE. He has a passion for all things engineering with a particular focus on the design of steel and timber. Shane enjoys the more architecturally daring projects and pushing the boundaries of engineering design to achieve architectural intent. Balancing technical knowledge with site experience, Shane brings enthusiasm and wealth of experience to the team.

    Cooper has 1+ years’ experience as General Office Dog. Cooper works on a wide range of projects including tail chasing, ball chewing and general amusements, and is an expert at Friday night Partridge Socials. With a nose for cheese and biscuits and an eye for detail on floor crumbs, he brings a unique skillset and exceptional social attributes.

    Jo joined Partridge in 2016 and has been instrumental in heading up Human Resources, marketing, strategic planning and general business operations in her capacity and role as General Manager. Jo has extensive experience in owning and operating companies and with her qualifications in business management and leadership, she was appointed to the Board of Directors in July, 2018. With a passion for business growth, strategy and operations, Jo brings key insight into the development of the company.

    NICHOLAS JOANNIDES

    Nick joined the practice in 1983 and has been a Director of Partridge since 1987. He is responsible for the project control and design of residential, commercial and industrial developments, providing technical review and implementation. Nick has extensive experience in structural design and remediation of building structures and a particular interest in investigative and forensic engineering and the application of new concrete repair techniques. Nick is involved in the forensic investigation and reporting of building defects, as well as the scopes and project management of remedial works, and is sought for his expert opinion.

    EWELINA SOWADA

    Ewelina has almost 15 years’ experience in design and construction of civil and stormwater elements in commercial, industrial and residential projects. She has extensive experience working across Australia, Ireland and the UK. Throughout her career, she has been exposed to a diverse range of unique engineering techniques and methodologies, which she brings to each project. Her deep experience enables Ewelina to consult with an approach that is both practical and commercial, working closely with Architects to deliver their vision.
