This Aboriginal interpretive playspace and park is located in the Shellharbour City Centre. Partridge played an integral role in this project, providing the structural design that was crucial to bringing this project to life. The inspiration for the design of this playspace comes from the historical journey taken by the local Aboriginal people around the Illawarra, from the escarpment to the sea. Over 300 local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander school students, along with local Elders, engaged with council to collaborate on the playspace’s design. Fiona Robbe, an accomplished landscape architect, horticulturist, and playspace designer, brought their concept to life. We also worked alongside Simpson Landscape who helped ensure that the park was completed to the highest standards.
