We’re delighted to welcome Michael McLean as a new Associate in our Melbourne office, where he will lead the launch of our Melbourne Remedial section. Building on Partridge’s well-established expertise in Sydney, Michael’s appointment marks an exciting step toward becoming a leading provider of remedial services in Melbourne.
Michael is a highly experienced engineer with specialist knowledge in durability, corrosion control, and remediation design for reinforced concrete and metallic infrastructure. Over his career, he has held senior roles with leading remedial, corrosion, and engineering firms, delivering complex projects across the transport, energy, marine, and industrial sectors.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Materials) with Honours from Monash University and is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), a Registered Professional Engineer (RPEQ), and an active member of the Australasian Corrosion Association (ACA), the Australian Concrete Repair Association (ACRA), and Engineers Australia. With more than a decade of practical experience in corrosion control, cathodic protection, and concrete remediation, Michael brings both technical depth and industry insight to his new role.
At Partridge, he will lead our Melbourne Remedial team, partnering with clients across the residential and commercial sectors to deliver tailored solutions for building and infrastructure assets. From condition assessments and diagnostic investigations through to remediation design, repair specification, and project delivery, the team will focus on extending the service life of structures, improving resilience, and managing long-term maintenance needs.
Michael’s appointment reflects Partridge’s commitment to expanding our durability and corrosion capabilities nationally — providing whole-of-life solutions that combine advanced diagnostic insights with practical, constructible design.
Welcome to the team, Michael — we’re thrilled to have you on board.
