Congratulations to our clients who were featured in Vogue’s 2026 “VL50” list of Australia’s best interior designers, architects, landscape designers and product designers.
This recognition highlights not only the creative vision of Australia’s leading designers but also the collaborative engineering efforts behind their most ambitious projects. At Partridge, we’re proud to support these teams by delivering structural solutions that bring bold architectural ideas to fruition.
Recognised at the Concrete Institute of Australia 2019 Awards for Excellence in Concrete, Smart Design’s Mosman House VI demonstrates what is possible with conventionally reinforced concrete when design and construction are fully aligned.

For Partridge, the project centred on a 14 metre beam carrying slabs and green roofs, a complex cantilevered gym slab anchored into a curved stair wall, and meticulous detailing to control shrinkage and cracking in exposed off-form concrete. With no visible slab-to-wall joints, the home stands as a refined example of structural performance expressed as architecture.
Luigi Rosselli’s Terra Firma was inspired by the nearby sandstone cliffs of Longueville in NSW. Partridge worked closely alongside the architectural team and Buildability Constructions to solve significant structural challenges posed by the curved forms of the building.

Our team developed innovative solutions to support these unique shapes while preserving the desired aesthetic. The project involved reinforced concrete slabs supported by Dincel, brick, and rammed earth walls. Galvanised steel reinforcement and custom fabricated curved steel lintel frames were used to ensure the walls’ long-term durability.

Also by Luigi Rosselli Architects, The Pointe eight‑storey residential tower with a two‑level basement features a conventional reinforced concrete structure with Ritek load‑bearing walls. Ground‑floor pool walls transfer upper‑level loads. A key challenge was a below‑site train line, requiring acoustic isolation without compromising structural performance.
Partridge collaborated with Getzner to develop a custom vibration isolation solution. Exposed circular rebates in the slab soffit add unique ceiling texture. The expressed concrete edge beam’s rebated profile presented detailing and constructability challenges successfully overcome, creating a prominent feature throughout the building.

The architect’s signature brise soleil is prominent on the southern façade and ground floor. Overall, the building is an impressive example of modern design and construction, demonstrating innovative solutions to complex challenges and attention to detail in both aesthetics and functionality.
