Partridge provided our civil design services for the public domain frontage and driveway leading to the basement car park of these Coogee Apartments. Our team’s driveway design resulted in a well-designed and smoothly functioning entrance to the basement car park, optimizing traffic flow and parking efficiency. The public domain frontage ensured a visually appealing and accessible space for residents and visitors.

Partridge played a significant role in the construction of the Deepwater Apartments in North Bondi, NSW. This six-storey multi-residential project showcased large-span concrete floors with intricate load transfers at each storey. The project stood out for its extensive use of off-form concrete facades, contributing to its architectural appeal. Overcoming the challenges of a highly confined site, our engineers successfully executed the complex excavation works up to the boundaries. Additionally, we designed the building’s sea wall to act as a wave return, ensuring the safety and protection of the property against the forces of the ocean.

Partridge undertook the challenging task of adding a sophisticated new top floor to the Bondi Penthouse, seamlessly integrating it with the existing 1920s apartment block that characterizes the area. The design of the extension aimed to both complement and differentiate from the original frame, with a focus on maximizing the ocean views. To withstand the harsh marine environment, high-quality, corrosion-resistant materials were utilised. The façade features bold curves and incorporates a combination of glass and steel, elegantly framing the spectacular outlooks. Through great collaboration, the old apartment building was transformed into a stunning contemporary residence.

Overlooking the beautiful Main Beach, ‘The Surf’ is Yamba’s first boutique hotel. Partridge designed all the structural elements from the foundations, to the concrete frame, masonry walls, and feature masonry screens on the western façade, the pergola on the roof terrace, awnings, custom glass balustrades, and bespoke aluminium privacy screens. This intimate 12 room hotel offers an impressive rooftop pool and decking with breathtaking views up the coastline. Given the close proximity to the beach, durability was a key factor in ensuring the concrete elements we designed are maintenance free for the life span of the building.
