Structural engineering is generally a male-dominated profession, although the number of female graduates and females in the engineering workplace has happily been increasing steadily over the last two decades.

Compared to the general industry, Partridge has an unusually high proportion of female engineers in our design office – in fact, we’re triple the national average!  Four of the last five graduates we’ve employed out of university have been females, and looking at our workforce from our graduates up to our senior engineers, five of our nine designers are women!

Keen to foster this and to support our team, Partridge recently became a corporate member of NAWIC – the National Association of Women in Construction.  More details at www.nawic.com.au
